I created my Aesthetic Training Academy because I know what it’s like to want more from your career – more freedom, more purpose, more time to care – and to not know where to start.
There’s no roadmap for this. That’s why I’ve built one.
This isn’t about ticking a box or walking away with a certificate. It’s about learning how to actually practise – with confidence, with safety, and with integrity. I don’t want you to leave my courses feeling like you’ve memorised a protocol. I want you to leave feeling like a practitioner. Someone who can think critically, treat safely, and build a career that reflects your values and your life.

Meet Your Trainer
Dr Lauren Jamieson MBChB MRCGP is an experienced Aesthetic Doctor, Minor Surgeon and Founder of Dr Lauren Medical Aesthetics – a purpose-built skin and aesthetics clinic in Central Scotland.
With over 15 years of clinical experience and a background in surgery, anaesthetics, and General Practice, Lauren brings a unique depth to aesthetic medicine. Her special interest in cosmetic dermatology and regenerative skin health underpins her evidence-based, patient-first approach to treatment – and to training.
Lauren has spent years mentoring aesthetic practitioners at all stages of their journey – from shadowing and hands-on training in her own clinic, to delivering expert education for leading brands and institutions including Wigmore Medical UK.
Known for her calm, clinical ethos and deep respect for the individuality of each face, Lauren is passionate about raising standards in medical aesthetics. She believes training should be intelligent, honest, and empowering – and that every practitioner deserves the same kind of care and mentorship they aim to give their patients.

Yes. Our training is exclusively for doctors, dentists, and prescribing nurses or pharmacists with active registrations. Aesthetic Medicine is a clinical discipline – and our responsibility to patient safety and professional integrity starts with who we train.
Absolutely. Foundation is designed as a true launchpad – not just a technical course, but a mindset shift that equips you to enter Aesthetic Medicine with confidence, competence, and care. We cover everything you need to get started safely, ethically, and effectively.
No egos. No fluff. No conveyor belt CPD days for the masses. Our training is led personally by Dr Lauren and built around real-world practice, not product pushing. You’ll leave with clear protocols, deeper understanding, and the confidence to build a practice that’s both patient-centred and professionally fulfilling.
We believe the decision to train in Aesthetic Medicine should be intentional and well-timed – not impulsive or pressured. When you’re ready, we’ll be here. Payment is taken in full to confirm your place, which allows us to run small, focused groups and deliver exceptional teaching without compromise.
Our groups are deliberately small – usually 4–6 delegates – to ensure every practitioner receives direct supervision, tailored feedback and the time to properly learn and absorb. You’ll never be fighting for a turn or left watching from the sidelines.
Yes. Every course includes practical training on live models with a focus on safety, assessment and outcome – not just injection mechanics. Dr Lauren supervises each treatment to ensure a calm, supportive, and structured learning environment.
Support doesn’t end when the course does. You’ll be invited into our practitioner network for follow-up advice, mentoring/supervised practise opportunities, case discussion and continued learning. We’re building a community of practitioners committed to integrity and excellence – and you’re part of it.
