Aesthetic Training
for Nurses
Doctor-led education for nurses exploring aesthetics with integrity, confidence and long-term career growth in mind.
Is Aesthetic Medicine the Right
Next Step for You?
Many nurses feel drawn to aesthetics — but are unsure where to begin, who to trust, or how to train safely.
This is for you if…
- You’re a registered nurse curious about aesthetics as a career option
- You want proper clinical foundations, not shortcuts
- You value patient safety, ethics and evidence-based practice
- You’re looking for flexibility, autonomy or progression beyond traditional roles
- You want training that supports confidence, not just competence:
This may not be for you if…
- You’re looking for a quick certification with minimal oversight
- You want to jump straight into advanced treatments without foundations
- You’re not open to mentorship, feedback or continued learning
- You’re seeking purely cosmetic training without clinical responsibility
- You’re not prepared to invest time in building skills properly
Meet Your Trainer
Train With a Doctor Who Understands Both Sides
I’m Dr Lauren — an Aesthetic Doctor, educator and clinic owner, and I’ve spent my career working across both NHS and private practice.
I understand the pressure nurses carry, the responsibility you hold, and the questions that come with considering a step into aesthetics. That’s why I’m so passionate about training that’s grounded in safety, ethics and proper clinical thinking — especially at the beginning.
At my Aesthetic Training Academy, I don’t just teach techniques. I teach how to assess, plan and communicate — so you feel confident in your decisions, not just capable with your hands.
My aim is simple:
To help nurses enter aesthetics feeling supported, respected and proud of the path they’re taking — with mentorship and standards that protect both you and your patients.
Let’s raise the bar. Together.

What Real Training Is Made Of
Overcoming Valid Concerns
A Strong Foundation
Nursing provides an exceptional foundation for aesthetic medicine. Skills in patient assessment, anatomy, communication and consent translate naturally into aesthetics, while the desire to help patients feel better about themselves remains central. For many nurses, aesthetics offers flexibility, autonomy and a renewed sense of professional fulfilment.
Built with Nurses in Mind
The ATA was created to give nurses a safe, structured and doctor-led entry into aesthetics. Training is grounded in clinical judgement, ethical practice and realistic progression — not pressure to rush or overreach. You’ll be supported, mentored and encouraged to ask questions in an environment that values learning, professionalism and long-term success.

No. Many nurses start with no prior aesthetics training. Foundation-level courses are designed to build skills safely from the ground up.
Most nurses begin with our Foundation course. If you already have injectable experience, we’ll guide you toward the most appropriate level.
Absolutely. ATA places strong emphasis on post-course guidance, mentorship and progression — you’re not left to figure things out alone.
When trained properly, within scope, and supported by strong clinical standards — yes. That’s exactly what the ATA prioritises.
That’s completely normal! We encourage nurses to attend one of our webinars or speak with us directly before applying.
